Student Hero Award | Comfort Zone Heating & Cooling

$500 Awaits a Local Student Hero in Comfort Zone Heating & Cooling’s New Everyday Hero Award

Atlanta, GA, March 27, 2018

Comfort Zone Heating & Cooling is thrilled to announce the launch of its Everyday Hero program to honor adults and kids from our community who show heroism in their everyday lives. Four times a year the HVAC company will solicit nominations for a hero from a different walk of life. For the inaugural cycle, the search is on for student heroes from elementary school through college. Nominations will be accepted until May 15, and one grand-prize winner and two runners-up will be announced on May 31. The grand-prize and runner-up awards are $500 and $50, respectively.

Nominations must be made at https://comfort-zonehvac.com/heroes/. Nominees must live, work, or go to school in one of the following counties: Bartow, Cherokee, Cobb, DeKalb, Forsyth, Gwinnett, North Fulton, or Pickens. Each quarter will focus on a different hero category, or walk of life. Along with receiving a grand-prize of $500, the winner will be featured on Comfort Zone’s website.

Nominations for the inaugural, Student Hero award must be submitted by 11:59 pm Eastern Time on Tuesday, May 15, and include a brief description of the student’s act of heroism (for example, aiding other students, organizing a charity fundraiser, or any other instance of going above and beyond to help someone). Students from elementary school through college are eligible for consideration.

Inspiration for the program comes from the company’s tagline: We want to be your hero.

“We try to be heroes to our customers every day,” explains Comfort Zone co-owner Travis Hoffmeier. “Whether it’s a fast response to a heating or cooling emergency, or doing everything we can to earn our customers trust when we’re repairing or replacing their HVAC equipment. That’s the spirit behind our Everyday Hero program – honoring people in our community who go the extra distance in their everyday lives.”

Comfort Zone stresses education and transparency to ensure residential and commercial customers always have confidence that they are getting honest service and can make informed decisions about HVAC repairs and replacements. All techs are vetted Comfort Zone employees, never subcontractors.
